The festive months of October and November are not just about Dussehra, Durga Puja and Diwali. For many, this is also the perfect time to pack their bags and take a break from their busy lives. During this period, travellers are looking at both international trips and relaxing getaways within the country.
According to a recent Agoda finding, Bangkok, Phuket and Tokyo were the three most searched international cities among Indian travellers during the festive season. Goa, Puri and Udaipur, on the other hand, topped the list of popular domestic destinations.
In a statement, Gaurav Malik, Country Director, Indian Subcontinent & Indian Ocean Islands, Agoda, said, “The festive period has traditionally been when travel and celebration come together, but the destinations people are considering reveal that there are now various ways to spend this time.”
