That reversed a sizeable **** disadvantage. China had supplied $*.** billion against Bangladesh’s $*.** billion, leaving Bangladesh $*** million behind. In ****, Bangladesh’s shipments jumped **.* per cent while China still grew *.* per cent. The result was a $**-million Bangladesh lead.
The more important change has come in ****. TexPro records Bangladesh at $*.** billion in January-May, up *.* per cent year on year, while China fell *.* per cent to $*** million. Bangladesh’s advantage therefore expanded to about $*** million in only five months, with its share rising to **.* per cent.
