China’s apparel exports to Taiwan grow, market share rises in Q1 2026

China remained by far the largest supplier, with exports valued at $***.*** million, accounting for **.** per cent of Taiwan**;s total apparel imports. Vietnam retained its position as Taiwan**;s second-largest supplier, although exports fell to $**.** million from $**.** million, reducing its market share from **.** per cent to **.** per cent. Italy strengthened its ranking as the third-largest supplier, with exports rising to $**.** million from $**.** million, increasing its market share from **.** per cent to **.** per cent.

Bangladesh overtook Cambodia to become Taiwan**;s fourth-largest apparel supplier during the quarter. Bangladesh**;s exports increased to $**.*** million, lifting its market share to *.** per cent from *.** per cent a year earlier. Cambodia**;s exports fell to $**.*** million, with its share declining to *.** per cent from *.** per cent.

China has consistently supplied nearly half of Taiwan**;s apparel imports in recent years.
