A heated clash broke out at Patna Airport as Congress leaders returned from Delhi after seat-sharing discussions for the upcoming elections in Bihar. Videos of party workers assaulting a Congress worker have gone viral on social media.
The worker said that he was severely beaten by fellow party members at Patna Airport after he ‘allegedly claimed’ that the Bikram assembly seat was sold for Rs 5 crore by Congress State President Rajesh Ram and party in-charge Krishna Allahvaru.

The incident reportedly involved senior leaders, including Bihar Congress chief Rajesh Ram, Bihar Congress in-charge Krishna Allavaru, and senior leader Shakeel Ahmed Khan.
They were confronted by workers over the distribution of tickets.
As per The Hindu, Congress workers from the Bikram assembly constituency confronted party leaders at Patna Airport, accusing them of corruption in distributing election tickets. The tension grew after the sitting MLA from Bikram, Siddharth Saurabh, left the Congress to join the BJP, the report added.
The workers were frustrated that the party ticket was given to a newcomer despite having members who had served the Congress for over three decades, the report stated.
The seat-sharing discussion is not over yet. The INDIA bloc, an opposition alliance that includes the Congress, RJD, and other parties, has not officially announced the number of seats for each party in the upcoming elections.
However, according to The Hindu, the RJD is likely to contest around 130 seats and Congress around 60 seats.
Bihar assembly elections will be conducted in two phases. The first phase of voting will take place on November 6, while the second phase of voting will be conducted on November 11. The counting of votes will take place on November 14.
