Union Home Minister Amit Shah dubbed Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s “Voter Adhikar Yatra” as “Ghuspaithiya Bachao Yatra” and said it was meant to save infiltrators who have come from Bangladesh.
In an interaction with BJP workers in Bihar’s Rohtas, Shah said Rahul Gandhi and his allies are giving jobs to infiltrators instead of Indian youth.
The former BJP chief also accused Congress of spreading a fake narrative around vote theft and said: Have any of you lost their votes?… This was Rahul Gandhi’s Ghuspaithiya Bachao Yatra.”
The topic of his yatra was not vote theft. The topic was not good education, employment, electricity, roads… The topic of the tour was saving the infiltrators who have come from Bangladesh. Should infiltrators have the right to vote or free rations? Should infiltrators get jobs, houses, treatment up to 5 lakh rupees?” Shah asked.

Shah told BJP workers that it is their responsibility to go to every house and tell them that if the Mahagathbandhan government is formed even by mistake, then there will be only infiltrators in every district of Bihar.
During his Bihar visit, Shah is scheduled to interact with workers and leaders from 10 districts in the Magadh-Shahabad region, where the performance of the NDA was below par in the 2020 assembly polls and Lok Sabha elections last year.
Earlier today, Amit Shah met the Bihar Chief Minister and Janata Dal (U) Nitish Kumar. Kumar, who is the longest serving CM of Bihar for over two decades, is contesting the election again as part of the BJP-led NDA bloc.
Election dates are likely to be announced next month.
