Farhan Akhtar Reacts To Naseeruddin Shah’s Criticism; Janhvi Kapoor Break Silence Over Dahi Handi Video
Farhan Akhtar recently opened up about the remarks made by Naseeruddin Shah on his films and acting. When asked if Farhan contacted the veteran actor about his criticism, Farhan said no and explained why. “I have been doing films for 25 years. There are certain actors, directors, writers who I have known and they have debuted maybe 10 years after me. If there is something in their work that I feel, from my observation, that this could be better or that I have this piece of advice to give them… genuinely I would pick up the phone and call them.”
Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor has finally reacted to the trolling she faced after a video of her chanting ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’ at a Dahi Handi event in Mumbai went viral. She took to her Instagram stories to share the full video clip for context. In the video, BJP MLA Ram Kadam can be heard saying “Bolo Bharat Mata Ki Jai,” after which Janhvi joins in with the chant and breaks the matki. Clapping back at the trolls, the actress wrote, “Just for context full video lol. Unke bolne ke baad nahi bolti toh problem, aur bolo toh bhi video ko kaat ke meme material. (laughing emoji) Waise sirf Janmashtami ke din nahi, roz bolungi Bharat mata ki jaiiiii.”
