Priyanka Chopra is soaking in the joy of motherhood, thanks to her daughter Malti Marie Marie. The actress took to Instagram to share an adorable series of photos, one of which was a picture of PeeCee holding a blackboard with the word ‘Mama’ written on it. The sweet gesture by her little one instantly melted fans’ hearts. Other glimpses from the lot included Malti turning photographer for her ‘mama’ and another showing her gatecrashing father Nick Jonas’ Jonas Brothers rehearsals before a concert.
In the first picture shared by Priyanka Chopra, the neatly scribbled “Mama” stands out as a tender reminder of Malti’s growing bond with her superstar mom. Priyanka captioned the moment with a heart emoji, letting the photo speak for itself. She captioned her photo carousel with a famous line from the film Lilo & Stitch. It read: “Ohana means Family. Fans and friends flooded the comments section with love, calling it a “proud mom moment” and “too cute for words.” Since welcoming Malti with husband Nick Jonas in January 2022, Priyanka has often shared glimpses of her life as a doting mother, balancing her Hollywood and Bollywood commitments while cherishing family milestones.
Priyanka Chopra once spoke about how she is raising Malti Marie
During a recent appearance on Jimmy Fallon’s show, Priyanka Chopra reflected on raising her young daughter, Malti Marie Jonas, amid her busy schedule. Priyanka Chopra said, “She’s precocious, she’s funny, she’s a little comedian. She knows she’s funny, so that’s even better. Yeah, she’s such a light of our lives right now. This is an amazing season for us. Nick has been on Broadway for the last five years. We were in New York, hunkered down.”
The actress added, “I’m filming a movie in India, so I fly back and forth from there. So we’re based in this East Coast summer right now, and she’s (Malti) going to school here. She has her little clique of friends, and her schedule’s even crazier than mine. There are so many classes. Kids do so much… She wants to socialise with other babies.”
When asked if Malti listens to any Nick Jonas or Jonas Brothers’ songs, Priyanka laughed and said, “I mean, she doesn’t identify them, but she calls them ‘The Doughnut Brothers’… Isn’t it amazing? We should merch that… Let’s make that into the new Labubu.”
