The duo, whose friendship goes back years, recently made headlines for their playful Paris trip. And now, even as schedules keep them apart, V ensured his presence was felt in a big way on Park Bo Gum’s special night.
During the final episode of Cantabile, Park Bo Gum sat stunned as a video message from BTS’ V played on the screen. His shocked expression and quiet “Oh” captured the emotional weight of the moment, as the audience broke into cheers and applause.
In the message, V said, “Hello! I’m BTS’ V. Since it’s Bo Gum hyung’s Cantabile finale episode broadcast, I’m filming this video. Bogum hyung sent me a text, ‘Taehyung-ah, when do you want to come on [the program]?’ But I’m in the US to prepare our next album, and so I couldn’t make it. I find it very unfortunate as well. If one day there is another chance, I’d like to do a shoot together.”

We will release an amazing album next spring. Please look forward to BTS’ music as well. I’ll work hard! Thank you!”
