Fahadh Faasil’s highly anticipated rom-com Odum Kuthira Chaadum Kuthira has hit theatres on August 29, 2025. The film, directed by Althaf Salim, promises to be a refreshing blend of humour, romance, and unusual storytelling. While you wait to watch the film, here’s a look back at some of Fahadh’s most popular comedies-
Aavesham- This action-comedy drama, directed by Jithu Madhavan, stars Fahadh Faasil in the role of an eccentric gangster. Rangan has become one of the most popular with his ideal blend of humour and danger.
Njan Prakashan- Directed by Sathyan Anthikkad and written by Sreenivasan, the film stars Fahadh Faasil in the role of Prakashan, a lethargic man who yearns for a simple life overseas without exerting too much effort.
North 24 Kaatham- Fahadh Faasil plays a socially awkward IT expert, bringing comedy with his compulsive behaviours. His persistent displeasure with other travellers, awkward silences, and snarky reactions result in funny situations.
Amen- Fahadh Faasil plays a person with a shy, uncomfortable demeanour, the way he struggles with his clarinet in the church band, and his hesitant attempts to convey affection lend a hilarious charm. Directed by Lijo Jose Pellissery, Amen also stars Swathi Reddy, Indrajith Sukumaran, and Kalabhavan Mani.
Oru Indian Pranayakatha- He gives an outstanding performance as an aspiring politician in the film. His depiction is both genuine and compelling, full of enthusiasm without overacting. Fahadh Faasil and Amala Paul have an undeniable relationship, with exceptional comedic timing.
Odum Kuthira Chaadum Kuthira stars Fahadh and Kalyani Priyadarshan as the leads. The film also stars Vinay Forrt, Revathi Pillai, Lal, Anuraj, and Dhyan Sreenivasan. This film’s release offers a dose of light-hearted entertainment with a flavour influenced by Korean love comedies. The teaser suggests a mix of oddball characters, slapstick humour, and deadpan conversation, which Althaf is known for. The film’s opening credits announce that Netflix has acquired the digital rights. Odum Kuthira Chaadum Kuthira will be available for streaming on the platform when its theatrical run ends.
