During an earlier appearance on a reality show, Malaika Arora had described the kind of men she likes. Malaika didn’t hold back in describing what she liked, and her description matched her then-boyfriend, Arjun Kapoor, in terms of looks. However, her comment has resurfaced after the Bollywood diva recently said that she is still open to the idea of marriage.
Back in 2021, Malaika Arora revealed what ‘turns her on’ about a man. She said, “I really like a guy who is a little rough around the edges. I like that. Too prissy, chikna, nahi hota (or clean-shaven, I don’t like)… Outrageously flirtatious. I like somebody who can kiss really well.” She also mentioned that she is turned off by men who gossip a lot.
Malaika’s preferences have caught everyone’s attention again after she recently called herself a hopeless romantic who is open to a second marriage. During a candid conversation with Pinkvilla, Malaika was asked if she would like to get married again. Malaika said, “Never say never. Like I said, I’m a hardcore romantic. I believe in love. I believe in all things about love. So, never say never.” Her comment left fans gushing, and they wondered if love is on the cards again for Malaika after her breakup with Arjun Kapoor and divorce from Arbaaz Khan.

Last year, Arjun Kapoor confirmed that he and Malaika had called it quits after nearly six years of dating. During a promotional event for Singham Again, Arjun Kapoor addressed his relationship status, revealing that he was single. In a viral video from the event, he was seen telling the crowd, “Abhi single hoon main, relax.”
While neither Malaika nor Arjun had publicly discussed the breakup before, rumours of their split had been circulating for months, with sources suggesting they had “run their course” as a couple but would continue to respect each other’s privacy. A month after Arjun’s remark, Malaika Arora shared a post on Instagram that read, “My status right now: in a relationship, single, hehehe.” The “hehehe” option was selected from the drop-down options.

Malaika Arora and Arbaaz Khan got married in 1998. Malaika was about 25 years old at that time. Four years into their marriage, they welcomed their son Arhaan Khan in 2002. After being married for 18 years, the couple announced their separation in 2016 and finalised their divorce in 2017. Arbaaz Khan is now remarried to Sshura Khan, and the couple is expecting their first child together.
