Ba***ds Of Bollywood First Look: On Saturday evening, Shah Rukh Khan fans were in for a treat when the superstar returned with his signature ‘Ask SRK’ session on X (formerly Twitter). During the question-answer session, SRK and Netflix together revealed that the first look of Aryan Khan’s debut directorial project, Ba**ds Of Bollywood, will be revealed on August 17. And the wait is officially over!

The first scene opens with the introduction of the show’s leads and a fitting tribute to Aryan Khan’s father, Shah Rukh Khan. With King Khan’s Mohabbatein theme playing in the background, Aryan appears on screen to narrate his story. However, the narrative is cut short and quickly turns into a parody of SRK. He then urges the audience to ‘expect the unexpected’ in his project. Kill fame Lakshya plays the male lead, while a brief back-shot of an actor, probably Ranveer Singh, was also shown. SRK’s cameo was kept a secret from the promo. “Zyaada hogaya? Aadat daal lo..The Ba***ds of Bollywood Preview will be out on August 20,” read the caption on Netflix.

Shah Rukh Khan wrote, “Aap ne maanga aur Netflix ne poora kar diya….yeh thoda zyaada ho gaya nahi? Par aadat daal lo…..kyunki…. The Ba***ds of Bollywood Preview will be out on August 20.” Here’s the first look at Aryan Khan’s Ba***ds Of Bollywood:

SRK speaks about his cameo in Ba***ds Of Bollywood

During last evening’s Ask SRK session, a social media user quizzed him about Aryan Khan’s Ba***ds of Bollywood. When asked he has a cameo in his son’s debut project, King Khan confirmed his roles and also revealed that several who’s who from the industry are also a part of the Netflix series, “Lots of lovely friends from the industry have participated in Aryans series. They have been very very gracious and loving to him. Main toh hun hi…Haq se!”

Yet another asked him to review Aryan’s work. In his trademark style, SRK gave what he described as an “honest review”. Taking to X, the Swades actor wrote, “It’s very good. You all see and decide..but it’s very entertaining….and wacky and emotional. Honest Review!”

What is Ba***ds of Bollywood about?

Aryan Khan, who chose to step into direction instead of acting unlike his superstar father and sister Suhana Khan, has been working on the project for over a year. Produced by Red Chillies Entertainment, the show reportedly dives into the eccentric world of aspirants, hustlers, and dreamers who navigate the chaos of the Hindi film industry. The series reportedly has cameos by Bobby Deol, Ranbir Kapoor, and other notable stars. Reports also hint at cameo performances by Salman Khan, Karan Johar, and Ranveer Singh.

Aryan leads the project as creator and director, working alongside co-creators Bilal Siddiqi and Manav Chauhan, who have also contributed to the writing.
