War 2 FIRST Review Out: Early reactions for War 2 are sky-high as fans call it the “biggest blockbuster of 2025,” praising Hrithik and Jr NTR’s chemistry and action spectacle.

The adrenaline-fuelled War 2 has landed in theatres amid enormous hype, and early reactions on X suggest it could be the biggest blockbuster of 2025. Fans are hailing it as a “thrill ride” packed with action, suspense, and emotional stakes, praising the crackling chemistry between Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR.

Directed by Ayan Mukerji, War 2 is the latest chapter in Yash Raj Films’ ever-expanding Spy Universe. Hrithik Roshan returns as Major Kabir Dhaliwal, but this time the stakes are even higher — Kabir has gone rogue, emerging as India’s most dangerous villain. In his much-awaited Bollywood debut, Jr NTR steps in as elite agent Vikram, tasked with bringing Kabir down. What follows is a globe-trotting cat-and-mouse chase spanning multiple countries, punctuated by jaw-dropping stunts, tense face-offs, and an emotional undercurrent that fans say “hits hard.”

Pre-Sales Surge Past Expectations

Even before audiences got a glimpse of the final product, War 2 was rewriting box office forecasts. Advance booking numbers soared after Telugu state ticket sales went live, with BookMyShow recording over 20,000 ticket sales per hour at peak demand.

As per Sacnilk, prior to Telugu bookings, the film had already grossed around Rs 10 crore (with block seats) for its Hindi version’s opening day. Post the Telugu surge, analysts are predicting an opening day tally north of Rs 45 crore across languages, with opening weekend projections aiming for the Rs 150 crore worldwide mark.

Early Reviews Point To A Blockbuster

While full critic reviews are still incoming, fan reactions on X are overwhelmingly positive. Viewers are raving about the scale of the action set pieces and Hrithik and Jr NTR’s performances.
