BJP MP Anurag Thakur on Monday launched a scathing attack on Congress leader Rahul Gandhi in the Lok Sabha, calling him ‘Leader of Opposing Bharat’ (LoB) for relentlessly targeting India and Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s policies.
“The leader you talk about, twice, the people of the country did not even give him enough votes to become the leader of the opposition. The one time he became, he (Rahul Gandhi) has changed from LoP to LoB (Leader of Opposing Bharat). His agenda is to oppose India, the Indian Army and PM Modi,” he said.
“He should be called LoB from now on. Rahul Gandhi has become the poster boy of Pakistan’s propaganda. Congress leaders were competing on who should appear the closest to Pakistan,” he added.

Upping his criticism against Congress, Thakur said the party leaders were such advocates of Pakistan that they started defending the country before Islamabad. “Pakistan Army and government use Lashkar-e-Rahul’s comments in their favour,” he added.
“I thought they had a problem with PM Modi, but now I fully believe that they have an issue with the motherland. Although they claim to be INC (Indian National Congress), but their remarks show that they have become Islamabad National Congress, as they are spreading Pakistan’s fake narratives.”
“During Operation Sindoor, Rahul Gandhi was most interested in knowing how many Indian planes were lost. He did not even bother to know the damage our forces brought to Pakistan and how many terrorists were killed by our forces.”
He also called the party “Rahul-occupied Congress”, which will be remembered for its deceit and betrayal during Operation Sindoor. “The Rahul Occupied Congress systematically created hateful and insulting cartoons against the Indian Army and the Prime Minister of India, and called the Army Chief “sadak ka gunda” (street thug).”
He also criticised the opposition parties for not mentioning that the Pahalgam attackers had asked about the religion of the tourists and stripped them before murdering them in cold blood.
