Parliament Winter Session Day 3 Live Updates: The Rajya Sabha is expected to take up a privilege motion against Renuka Chaudhary today over her recent “dogs and barking” remarks, which several members believe undermine parliamentary decorum and security norms. The Upper House is currently reviewing the issue as political manoeuvring builds ahead of the next sitting.

India Bloc Meeting: Leaders of the INDIA bloc will meet at 9.45 am on Thursday in Parliament to finalise their joint floor strategy. Meanwhile, an all-party meeting has agreed to schedule a full-day debate on Vande Mataram next Tuesday, December 9.

SIR Protests: Tuesday, the second day of the Winter Session, both houses of Parliament saw protests to discuss the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) drive carried out by the government. Slogans like ‘SIR pe charcha’, ‘vote chor gaddi chhor’, and others were made prompting the government to hold a discussion on next Tuesday, December 9.
