The row comes as the opposition bloc looks set to announce Tejashwi Yadav as its chief ministerial pick after days of stalemate over seat sharing

The presser posters feature only Tejashwi Yadav.
The efforts of the Mahagathbandhan to put up a united front ahead of the Bihar elections seemed to take a hit on Thursday as the BJP pointed out that posters of the alliance bloc’s press meet in Patna—during which RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav may be named the chief ministerial face—did not feature Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s photo.
“Joint PC? But only one picture. Rahul Gandhi & Congress ka ‘samman chori’. Showed Congress & Rahul his place?” BJP spokesperson Shehzad Poonawalla posted on X, playing on Gandhi’s ‘vote chori’ campaign in which the leader accused the Election Commission of colluding with the ruling BJP to make changes in voter rolls.
So it’s not just “Samman” Respect chori that Congress is grappling with ( Tejaswi pic on joint pc poster and rahul gandhi deleted )Now Ticket chori allegations hit Congress especially key team of Rahul Gandhi

BJP’s Gaurav Bhatia compared Tejashwi Yadav to emperor Aurangzeb, questioning his “insecurity” due to which not only Gandhi but also Lalu Prasad did not find mention on the poster.
After Aurangzeb, now Tejaszeb!
The row comes as the opposition bloc looks set to announce Tejashwi Yadav as its chief ministerial pick after days of stalemate over seat sharing. Hectic parleys on Wednesday included a meeting of Congress leaders, including election observer Ashok Gehlot and Bihar in-charge Krishna Allavaru, with Tejashwi Yadav and Lalu Prasad Yadav to resolve the crisis and put up a united front. Sources told CNN-News18 that at the meeting, the Congress was asked to withdraw as many names as possible on seats that were seeing joint fights as well as announce Tejashwi Yadav as the CM face.
The Grand Old Party, however, dismissed rumours of friction among the partners, with Gehlot saying the bloc “was united and contesting the elections as a strong force”. Tejashwi Yadav, too, downplayed buzz of a rift in the alliance, saying the press conference would clear all doubts.
The RJD released 143 candidates for Bihar polls on Monday, including 24 women. Some constituencies currently have candidates from both RJD and Congress, with adjustments expected ahead of the polls, which are scheduled in two phases on November 6 and 11, with results on November 14.
