Asaduddin Owaisi Addresses Rally In Bihar

Ahead of Bihar elections, AIMIM chief and Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi made a strong remark and said, “There is no leader for the Muslim population in Bihar.” Addressing a rally in Bihar’s Darbhanga, Owaisi said every community has a leader in Bihar, but the 19 per cent Muslims do not.

“Yadav, Paswan, Thakur – every community has its own leader, but the 19 per cent Muslims in Bihar have no leader,” he said.

Bihar election 2025 date is set to be announced today. As per the official order, the Election Commission of India is set to hold a press conference at 4 PM. In a press conference in Patna, Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Gyanesh Kumar said that elections in Bihar will be held before November 22.

In 2020 Bihar polls, Owaisi’s AIMIM performance unexpectedly impressed everyone as they won five seats. Four of the five AIMIM MLAs later switched to RJD.

This year too, Owaisi is aiming at a striking performance. “There should have been 50-55 Muslim MPs based on our population. If there were more than 50 Muslim MPs, could PM Modi have brought the Waqf (Amendment) Act?” the AIMIM chief said at a rally today.

Owaisi further attacked Tejashwi Yadav and said, “RJD is not ready to talk to us. Now, the people of Bihar understand who is trying to stop Modi-Nitish from coming to power and who is helping them. Tejashwi Yadav must realise that his immaturity will cost him and his arrogance will weaken him. If he thinks he can do everything alone, he is mistaken…”

Bihar has 243 assembly constituencies, including two reserved for STs and 38 for SCs.
