Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday attended the ‘Sansad Karyashala’ in Delhi, a key internal workshop aimed at fostering collaboration, knowledge sharing, and effective parliamentary functioning among MPs. The workshop for BJP leaders was organised at GMC Balayogi Auditorium, Parliament House, New Delhi.

The political event served as a platform to bring together MPs from across the country, along with senior party leaders, for meaningful discussions with focus on a wide range of issues. Following the event, Prime Minister Modi shared images from the workshop on X, noting that “valuable perspectives” were exchanged during the event.

In a post on X, PM Modi wrote, “Attended the ‘Sansad Karyashala’ in Delhi. MP colleagues from all over India and other senior leaders exchanged valuable perspectives on diverse issues.”

“In our Party, platforms like ‘Sansad Karyashala’ are important because they are great forums to learn from each other and deliberate on how we can serve people even better,” PM Modi further wrote.

The event was attended by several ministers, including Union Health Minister JP Nadda, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kiren Rijiju, Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal.

The workshop was designed to strengthen MPs’ understanding of governance, policy, and legislative practices while fostering a spirit of teamwork and innovation. Sessions reportedly included deliberations on developmental strategies, grassroots engagement, policy execution, and effective communication with constituents.

Senior party functionaries and experienced lawmakers also addressed the gathering, sharing insights on improving parliamentary productivity and constituency management.

‘Sansad Karyashala’ is seen as part of the BJP’s broader efforts to continually upskill its elected representatives and reinforce its focus on good governance and public service.
