The South Indian International Movie Awards (SIIMA) 2025 lit up Dubai with a grand celebration of Telugu cinema. The star-studded night honoured excellence across acting, music, and technical categories, with Pushpa 2: The Rule emerging as the biggest winner. Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna clinched the top acting honours, while several rising talents and veterans also took home trophies.

The highly anticipated sequel Pushpa 2: The Rule dominated the awards, with Allu Arjun winning Best Actor (Male, Telugu). Reprising his iconic role as Pushpa Raj, Allu Arjun delivered a performance that blended grit, swagger, and vulnerability. His portrayal of the sandalwood smuggler navigating power struggles and personal turmoil was hailed as one of the year’s finest.
Rashmika Mandanna bagged Best Actor (Female, Telugu) for her role as Srivalli in the same film. Bringing warmth, strength, and emotional depth to her character, Rashmika’s performance stood out in a film driven by intense drama and larger-than-life action. The duo’s chemistry once again became a highlight, reaffirming their place among Telugu cinema’s most celebrated on-screen pairs.
Kalki 2898 AD, Devara And More Shine
While Pushpa 2 took centre stage, other films also received their share of accolades. The best film (Telugu) honour went to Nag Ashwin’s Kalki 2898 AD. Kamal Haasan won Best Actor in a Negative Role (Telugu) for his commanding performance as Supreme Yaskin in Kalki 2898 AD. Anna Ben was honoured with Best Supporting Actor (Female, Telugu) for her role in the same film.
Music was celebrated in full force, with Devi Sri Prasad winning Best Music Director (Telugu) for Pushpa 2, while Best Lyric Writer (Telugu) went to Ramajogayya Sastry for the soulful Chuttamalle from Devara. The track also won Best Playback Singer (Female, Telugu) for Shilpa Rao’s evocative vocals. Renowned cinematographer Rathnavelu ISC picked up the Best Cinematographer (Telugu) award for Devara, while Kannada cinema too saw its stars shine with awards for Ajaneesh Loknath, Samarjit Lankesh, and Ankita Amar among others.
The ceremony also honoured industry veteran V Harikrishna with a Special Award, recognising his invaluable contribution to South Indian cinema.
