For Indians visiting Singapore, Madame Tussauds is a popular stop where they can pose for pictures with wax figures of their favourite Bollywood stars. This Diwali, they have teamed up with MakeMyTrip for a special campaign called Icons of India.
Guests can get close to lifelike wax figures of Shah Rukh Khan, Ranveer Singh, and Varun Dhawan, along with a newly launched statue of Deepika Padukone. Several special activities are also planned for the campaign.
That’s not all, MakeMyTrip is giving travellers a Buy 1 Get 1 deal on tickets booked between October 21 and November 15, 2026. This means visitors can get two tickets for the price of one, which will make the experience more affordable for friends and families.
In a statement, Wade Chang, General Manager of Madame Tussauds Singapore, said, “Diwali is an important celebration of Indian culture, bringing people together through the shared spirit of light, joy and togetherness. Through the Icons of India campaign, we’re excited to bring guests closer to the most iconic stars and create memorable experiences. The partnership with MakeMyTrip is a wonderful opportunity to share the magic of Indian cinema with even more audiences in Singapore.”
Deepika Padukone became the latest Bollywood diva to have her own wax figure at Madame Tussauds Singapore. Her statue is presented in a long red gown that reaches the floor, with an open back. It also has her long hair and look that perfectly capture her style and appearance on screen.
Jasmeet Singh, Chief Business Officer – Holidays & Experiences, MakeMyTrip, said, “Travellers today want to do more than just visit a destination; they want experiences that make the trip memorable. Our association with Madame Tussauds Singapore brings a much-loved attraction closer to Indian travellers, bookable on MakeMyTrip as easily as a hotel or a flight. With many Indians travelling abroad over the festive season, Icons of India gives travellers heading to Singapore one more reason to plan their trip around Diwali.”
Apart from Bollywood stars, Madame Tussauds Singapore also has more than 80 wax figures of international stars and well-known Singaporean celebrities.
