The video, from July 2022, was recorded on a flight from Nashville, Tennessee, to Atlanta, Georgia. A passenger filmed the attendant as he gave his own funny twist to the usual safety instructions.
While explaining how to fasten seat belts and use oxygen masks, the flight attendant used the support rails inside the plane and did some funny dance moves. His unexpected performance surprised passengers and soon the whole cabin was filled with laughter and cheers.
He opened the collar of his inflatable life vest and struck several poses. He was also seen winking at passengers, making playful poses and leaning against the plane’s cabinets while showing the safety equipment. His antics had passengers laughing during the demonstration.
Brittney Abernathy, a passenger who shared the video on X, wrote, “LOL hey @SouthwestAir give this man a raise.”
There was more to his performance as he tossed the demonstration infant prop aside before confidently strutting down the aisle.

The video of the performance later went viral on social media.
One person commented, “I love Southwest Airlines!!! They do a great job and make everybody have fun in the process!!!”
Safety demonstrations are held before take-off. They show passengers what to do in an emergency, including how to use a life vest and oxygen mask.
The airline said that the important safety instructions were still properly explained to the passengers. The performance simply added some fun to the briefing.
In 2019 too, a similar video of a flight attendant became popular online. The clip showed the attendant doing a funny safety demonstration on an international flight.
