Clothing remained the largest individually identifiable segment in Jordan’s national export basket, accounting for around **.* per cent of the country’s national exports of JOD *.*** billion during January-June ****.
The sector was overwhelmingly driven by knitted apparel. National exports of articles of apparel and clothing accessories, knitted or crocheted, increased by *.* per cent to JOD ***.* million from JOD ***.* million. Knitted apparel represented more than ** per cent of Jordan’s clothing exports during the six-month period.
