As part of its ‘Happy IndiGo Day’ campaign, called “IndiGoFree”, the airline will refund the fares of 20,000 bookings, up to ₹10,000 per PNR, for eligible customers.
Who can avail the offer?
The offer is valid for customers who book domestic flights between August 4 and August 6 through IndiGo‘s official website, mobile app or its AI-powered virtual assistant, 6Eskai.
It is applicable to all domestic Economy Class and IndiGoStretch bookings, including both one-way and return journeys.
How will customers get free tickets?
Customers do not need to apply separately. All eligible bookings made during the three-day offer period will automatically be entered into the selection process.
IndiGo said 20,000 bookings will be selected at random. Customers whose bookings are chosen will receive an email and WhatsApp message inviting them to answer a simple question.
They will get three chances to answer the question correctly.
How will the refund be credited?
Customers who answer the question correctly will receive a refund of their booking fare, up to ₹10,000 per PNR.
According to IndiGo, the refund will be processed within three to five business days.
IndiGo launched operations in 2006 and is celebrating 20 years of service this year. It is currently India’s largest airline by market share. The airline operates a fleet of more than 430 aircraft and flies nearly 2,200 flights every day, connecting over 95 domestic and 40 international destinations.
The airline carried more than 123 million passengers in FY26 and was named the Best Airline in India and South Asia at the Skytrax World Airline Awards 2025. It was also ranked the sixth most punctual airline in the Asia-Pacific region in 2025 by aviation analytics firm Cirium.
