Northern Railway, in a social media post on X, advised passengers that train services have been cancelled, diverted, partially cancelled or regulated due to the derailment. It urged passengers to check the National Train Enquiry System (NTES) app or call the Rail Madad helpline (139) for the latest train updates before planning their journey.

The derailment has affected a total of 53 passenger trains. Of these, 16 trains have been cancelled, 24 have been diverted via Delhi-New Delhi, five have been partially cancelled and eight trains (Anand Vihar over Moradabad division and NCR) have been regulated.
Most of the cancelled trains are local EMU services operating between Ghaziabad, Delhi, Sahibabad and New Delhi, affecting daily commuters travelling on the route.

Apart from cancellations, some trains have been short-terminated or short-originated.
Train number 64104 (New Delhi-DKDE) and 64109 (DKDE-SSB) will terminate at Ghaziabad instead of completing their journey, while train number 64053 (Palwal-Ghaziabad) will end its journey at New Delhi. Meanwhile, trains 64112 (SSB-DKDE) and 64152 (Delhi-Aligarh Junction) will begin their journey from Ghaziabad instead of their usual starting stations.
Northern Railway also said that train number 54474 Saharanpur-Delhi has been diverted and will now run via Shahibabad-Delhi Sarai Rohilla-Delhi.
Senior railway officials, including the Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) and Additional Divisional Railway Manager (ADRM), reached the spot to monitor restoration work.
