Under the arrangement, customers applying for international visas on the Atlys platform will be able to access forex services offered by Thomas Cook India within the same workflow. The integration is aimed at streamlining travel planning by combining visa processing and forex procurement into a single digital journey.
As part of the offering, users will be able to opt for Visa-backed prepaid forex cards or foreign currency through Thomas Cook India. The services will be supported by digital onboarding, video-based KYC verification, assisted support channels and doorstep delivery across India.
The forex solutions available under the partnership include prepaid multi-currency travel cards, student-focused cards, single-currency options with reduced conversion charges, foreign currency notes for key travel destinations, and international remittance services covering over 120 countries.
Deepesh Varma, Chief Business Officer – Foreign Exchange at Thomas Cook India, said the collaboration is aligned with growing demand for digital-first and integrated travel services, particularly among younger and student travellers. He added that the company’s digital ecosystem, including its app and assisted support channels, will support seamless service delivery.
Mohak Nahta, Founder and CEO, Atlys, said the partnership is intended to reduce friction in the international travel process by bringing forex access closer to the visa application stage.
Rishi Chhabra, Country Manager at Visa Inc. in India, said Visa network-enabled forex cards provide travellers with a secure and widely accepted payment option abroad, and that the integration helps simplify pre-travel financial planning.
The collaboration was facilitated by InTandem, which said it helped align stakeholders and structure the partnership around customer demand for integrated travel services.
