The company has installed four units near boarding gates 9 and 10, offering passengers access to enclosed spaces intended for short-duration work or private calls during transit. The pods are positioned as an alternative use of airport waiting time, particularly for travellers needing a quieter environment for meetings, calls or focused work.
Access to the units is enabled through a QR-code-based booking system, allowing users to reserve a pod at the airport or schedule sessions in advance. The service is currently priced at ₹299 for 30 minutes and has been introduced on a pilot basis.
Each unit is equipped with features such as seating, lighting, charging ports, ventilation and acoustically treated interiors, according to the company.
MioPods.Space founder Vikas Sethia said the concept is aimed at addressing the increasing overlap between work and travel, where passengers often require functional spaces to stay connected during transit.
The company has indicated that it is exploring expansion to other major airports, including Delhi and Mumbai, following the initial rollout in Hyderabad.
