IndiGo broadens BluChip loyalty programme through new partnership

IndiGo has announced a strategic partnership with rewards technology platform Single.id to expand earning opportunities for members of its loyalty programme, BluChip, across everyday consumer spending categories.

Under the integration, BluChip members will be able to link their debit or credit cards on IndiGo’s Single.id portal and automatically earn loyalty points on eligible transactions made at participating merchants. These include brands across dining, retail and other high-frequency spending categories such as McDonald’s (West and South), Wow! Momo, Snitch, Colorbar, Himalaya, and Pizza Hut, among others.

The companies said the arrangement is designed to simplify the rewards process by removing the need for coupons, codes or manual redemption steps. Once cards are linked, eligible purchases across participating outlets will automatically accrue BluChips as per programme rules.
IndiGo said the partnership is aimed at strengthening its loyalty offering by enabling members to earn rewards beyond air travel and through routine daily expenses. Single.id, which powers the backend infrastructure for card-linked rewards, said the collaboration would help create a more seamless and scalable rewards system.

Once registered, users can link their preferred cards and complete a one-time mapping process. Returning users adding additional cards will be directed to the relevant linking interface. All eligible transactions at participating merchants will then automatically generate rewards under the BluChip programme.

IndiGo, India’s largest airline by fleet size and domestic market share, operates over 2,200 daily flights across domestic and international routes.
