IndiGo has planned 10 special relief flights from Jeddah to India on March 3, subject to regulatory approvals and prevailing airspace conditions. The airline is coordinating with the Consulate General of India in Jeddah to facilitate stranded passengers and ensure orderly movement.
Meanwhile, SpiceJet will operate four special flights from the United Arab Emirates on March 3 to facilitate the return of Indian nationals following the sudden closure of airspace. These services will operate from Fujairah to Delhi, Mumbai and Kochi, including two flights to Mumbai, to enable faster repatriation of passengers.
From March 4, SpiceJet will also restore its scheduled services between Fujairah–Delhi and Fujairah–Mumbai, helping normalise connectivity between the UAE and India. The airline is exploring the possibility of operating additional special flights, subject to passenger demand and regulatory approvals.

Separately, the Ministry of Civil Aviation said it is closely monitoring the evolving airspace situation and its impact on international operations.
Indian carriers have undertaken calibrated schedule adjustments, with long-haul and ultra long-haul flights progressively resuming through alternative routings that avoid restricted airspace. Aircraft and crew repositioning measures are also underway to restore operational stability.
Airlines are deploying additional capacity where required and coordinating with foreign aviation authorities and Indian missions abroad to ensure safe and orderly passenger movement.
