Samsung Galaxy S26 series launch is not far away and we could see the new flagships unveiled early next year. Which means the leaks are getting closer to the real deal and the latest tip includes a wide range of official teasers and some rumoured details. The new Galaxy S26 series is tipped to launch around January or early February next year.

The company is expected to make a slew of changes and offer some valuable upgrades that could make them the ideal iPhone 17 or Pixel 10 series rival in the market.

Samsung Galaxy S26 Series: Big Changes Incoming

The Galaxy S26 and S26 Plus variants might not be Samsung’s focus with these changes but the Galaxy S26 Ultra could be in for substantial upgrades. The new leak suggests the Ultra model will sport a Quad HD 6.9-inch display.

Samsung could split its markets between the Exynos 2600 and the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset with up to 16GB RAM most likely. The new Exynos chip is likely to be more powerful than the previous iterations and leaked benchmark scores of the new SoC suggests flagship-like performance. Last year we saw all the S25 devices launch with the Snapdragon version but the brand could buck the trend once again.

Besides this, Samsung is tipped to bring a quad camera setup with a 200MP sensor handling the primary duties. You can also expect a 50MP telephoto lens and the fourth sensor could be a 12MP or a 50MP lens. The other big upgrade could be with a 5,400mAh battery packed inside the S26 Ultra model which will be Samsung’s biggest on its flagship till date. We hope the charging speed can also be bumped up from the current 45W to a higher 60W or even 80W support.

The S26 series could miss out on the Edge version as Samsung is not pleased with the overall demand and interest around its new premium device. It has reportedly also cancelled plans for the S26 Pro model and will continue to bring the Plus moniker for the next few years.
