Singham Again, the action drama directed by Rohit Shetty and starring Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor among others, marks its first anniversary today, November 1, 2025. The film was made on a grand-scale, with larger-than-life action sequences, strong performances and a thematic connection to the Ramayan.
Among the performances, Arjun Kapoor’s portrayal of the antagonist, Danger Lanka, was widely praised by both audiences and critics and is regarded as one of the standout performances of his career.
Arjun Kapoor Expresses Gratitude To The Audience
On the film’s first anniversary, Arjun took to Instagram and expressed gratitude to director Rohit Shetty for offering him the role, and the audience for appreciating his hard work.
Arjun dropped a collage video featuring some of his scenes from the film and wrote in the caption, “Who knew being Danger could bring so much love? It’s been a year since I became Danger Lanka, a villain that gave me the chance to break moulds, surprise people and also have a crazy-good time playing it.”
He added, “Thank you, Rohit Shetty, Sir, for the trust and to the entire cast and crew for giving me one of the most memorable experiences of my career. Special thanks to the audience for all the love and appreciation, it always reminds me of the joy and passion of doing what I love. So here’s to celebrating 1 year of Singham Again and Danger Lanka!”
How Did His Fans React?
Fans and admirers were quick to share their reactions to the video. An Instagram user wrote, “One of your best performances so far, keep shining always, Zubair Hafiz. God bless you always.”
Another user commented,” Best character played all time. Fav. Choose wisely in future projects, bro.”
One user shared, “One of the Best performances delivered by Arjun.”
About Singham Again
The film also featured Ranveer Singh, Akshay Kumar, Deepika Padukone, and Tiger Shroff in pivotal roles. Despite its star-studded cast, it managed only a semi-hit status at the box office, possibly due to its clash with Kartik Aaryan’s horror-comedy Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3.
What’s Next For Arjun Kapoor?
Up next, the actor will be seen in No Entry 2 alongside Varun Dhawan. Directed by Anees Bazmee, the project initially included Diljit Dosanjh, who has since stepped away. Producer Boney Kapoor confirmed that Dosanjh’s exit was due to a scheduling conflict with his Aura Tour in Australia and New Zealand, adding that they parted on amicable terms
