Jonita Gandhi, known for What Jhumka? And The Breakup Song, set the stage ablaze with her electrifying performance as the opening act for the Spanish singer and songwriter, Enrique Iglesias, during his two-day Mumbai tour. The show, held on October 29 and 30 at the MMRDA Grounds in Bandra Kurla Complex (BKC), marked Enrique’s grand return to India after nearly a decade.
Now, Jonita has finally shared her experience of being the opening act of the ‘iconic’ Enrique, calling it a ‘little nerve-wrecking.’

Taking to Instagram, the singer dropped a series of pictures and videos from her electrifying performance and wrote in the caption, “It’s always a little nerve-wracking to be the opening act for someone as iconic as Enrique Iglesias’s but Mumbai, you did what you do best – made me feel right at home, what. a. night. So proud of my team for making it all happen so flawlessly amidst such crazy schedules!!!”
In the post, the singer is seen performing live on stage in front of the audience. Also, she shared a series of pictures from backstage, donning ace designer Shantnu Nikhil’s stunning silver one-piece dress.

Sharing the post, she wrote in the caption, “One with everyone’s hero (baby) Can’t wait to hit the stage!!!!”
