Many of you might not know that Raashii Khanna moved to Mumbai many years back at the insistence of Vaani Kapoor. Over the years, both have carved a niche for themselves in the film and despite witnessing success, failures and fame, the duo has remained close to each other.
Raashii Khanna On Bond With Vaani Kapoor
Earlier, speaking with News18 Showsha, Raashii reflected on their bond, saying, “Our friendship started way before we became actors. If you’re actors and then become friends, it can get complicated but that’s not the case with us. There’s no complication in our friendship because we both have our own spaces and we only want the best for each other.”
She added, “Today, she’s more like a sister to me than a friend. We never had any kind of friction and I know that we won’t have it in the future. We think alike and we want each other to rise and soar in life. I’m very proud of her and I know that she’s also very proud of me.”
Raashii Khanna’s Work Front
On the work front, Raashii Khanna was last seen in Telusu Kada alongside Siddhu Jonnalagadda and Srinidhi Shetty. Written and directed by debutant Neeraja Kona, the film explores the quirky journey of love, emotions and complexities.
As for Vaani Kapoor, her performance in Mandala Murders as Rhea Thomas, a CIB officer grappling with PTSD, won hearts.
