Not all Starkids join Bollywood. From Anshula Kapoor to Ira Khan—these 6 celebrities are proof.

While star kids like Suhana Khan, Ananya Panday, Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, and Janhvi Kapoor chose to follow in their parents’ footsteps and enter showbiz as actors, others like Aryan Khan decided to step behind the camera as directors.
However, there are also some Starkids who never really ventured into Bollywood, neither as actors, nor directors and opted for a life that extended beyond the big screen.
Trishala Dutt
Trishala Dutt is the daughter of Sanjay Dutt and Richa Sharma, Dutt’s first wife. Trishala was raised by her maternal grandparents in the US after the star kid’s mother passed away in 1996 . She is a psychotherapist by her profession and resides in New York. With over 650k followers on Instagram, Trishala often shares pictures with her father on the social media platform.
2.Anshula Kapoor
Daughter of Boney Kapoor and Mona Shourie Kapoor, Anshula has decided to stay away from Bollywood despite being part of one of the most prominent families in the industry. Kapoor, who recently featured in The Traitors as a contestant, completed her schooling in Mumbai and then moved to New York to pursue higher studies at Barnard College of Columbia University. Currently, she is a lifestyle influencer on Instagram.
3. Shweta Bachchan
Daughter of Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan, Shweta never entered Bollywood; however, her son, Agastya Nanda, recently debuted in Zoya Akhtar’s The Archies. Shweta married Nikhil Nanda in 1997. She has studied at Boston University and is also the author of Paradise Towers, which was released in 2018. Bachchan also co-founded MxS, a pret brand, with Monisha Jaising.
4. Ira Khan
Daughter of Aamir Khan and Reena Dutta, Ira was born in 1997. Even though her brother, Junaid, recently made his Bollywood debut with Maharaj, Ira has no such plans of entering Bollywood. Khan is quite vocal about her mental health hardships and often posts about them on her Instagram.
5. Krishna Shroff
Tiger Shroff’s sister, Krishna Shroff, owns MMA Matrix, which is a popular chain of gyms across the country. Shroff also participated in Khatron Ke Khiladi season 14. Even though Krishna is just as dedicated to fitness as her brother, she has no plans of following in his footsteps and joining Bollywood.
6. Navya Nanda
Navya Nanda, an entrepreneur, has carved her own niche in the Business world despite being the granddaughter of superstars Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan. She also enrolled herself in the Indian Institute of Management in Ahmedabad recently to pursue an MBA. With no intention to enter Bollywood, Navya has already made a name for herself.
