Vishal Singh, best known for playing Jigar Modi in Saath Nibhaana Saathiya, recently opened up about his bond with the two Gopi Bahus, Gia Manek and Devoleena Bhattacharjee. He spoke about how his connection with both actresses has evolved. During a conversation with Telly Masala, the actor spoke about how his bond with both of his co-stars has evolved.
Vishal revealed that although he and Gia Manek are not regularly in touch, they are quite cordial towards each other. He remembered the days that they shared on the show and expressed his desire to see her reach the top of her career and be happy.
‘For Some Reason, Touch Toot Gaya Hai’
While talking about Gia Manek, Vishal said, “For some reason mera Jia se touch toot gaya hai, we are following each other on Instagram par for some reason abhi waisa wala touch ni hai abhi unse.. par I wish her all the best …bhoot saari yaadien bhot hai bhot saari dosti aisa kuch dushmani ni hai kabhi kuch hua ni hai.”
The star explained that at no point in time was there a misunderstanding between them; it only happened that their life got too hectic. He went on, “Saathiya is one show we are all in touch … I don’t know how Jia se thoda sa gap ho gaya, but we have updates of each other’s lives and mujhe pata hai ek din aise hi kisi party me milenge and everything will be back to square one.”
His expression of warmth and nostalgia for the time they spent together during the days of Saath Nibhaana Saathiya, one of the most-loved family sagas of Indian television, was quite evident in his speech.
Still Close to Devoleena Bhattacharjee
Although Vishal has separated from Gia to some extent, according to his statement, he keeps in touch with Devoleena Bhattacharjee, who succeeded Gia as Gopi Bahu. He talked about their relationship being friendly and of long duration, which shows how deeply they were connected, not only in the show but also after the show.
Vishal underlined that the friendships he had with the cast of Saath Nibhaana Saathiya are the ones he treasures even after the show has been over for years. Though they might not have time because of their different professions and career paths, the bond they formed during this show is still alive and very strong.
About Vishal’s Stint In Saath Nibhaana Saathiya
Jigar Modi, a character integral to the storyline of the serial, was played by Vishal Singh in Saath Nibhaana Saathiya. His interpretation of the character was very moving as the viewers got to see all the sides of Jigar through his sweet and sour relationships with the family and in the dramatic situations of the story, which later on became the favourite parts of the fans. He exited the show after seven years of success in 2016.
Looking back at the time, one can still see how Saath Nibhaana Saathiya is influencing not only Vishal’s career but also his personal life. He continues to love his co-stars and be thankful for the friendships he has made, which is an indication of how some relationships formed during filming leave a mark even after the camera stops rolling.
