Shehnaaz Gill is gearing up for the release of her upcoming Punjabi film Ikk Kudi. As the countdown to the October 31 premiere begins, the actress, along with the film’s cast, visited the Golden Temple in Amritsar to seek blessings.
After offering prayers at Shri Harmandir Sahib, Shehnaaz was seen interacting warmly with fans in Amritsar. She even cut a cake that a fan had brought for her.
Shehnaaz Gill’s Sweet Gesture Towards Fans At Amritsar
Clips from her visit to the Golden Temple are doing rounds on social media, with fans praising her grounded nature and kind gestures. In one video, Shehnaaz is seen surrounded by fans as she steps out of the temple. When fans presented her with a cake, she happily cut it and thanked them with a big smile. She even urged them to watch Ikk Kudi in theatres, saying, “Thank you so much baba, Ikk Kudi dekh ke aana, theek hai.”
As she headed towards her car, she sweetly added, “Sab dhyaan rakhna apna.”
Shehnaaz Gill Visits Golden Temple Before Ikk Kudi’s Release
Ahead of the film’s release, the Ikk Kudi team visited the Golden Temple in Amritsar. Speaking to IANS, Shehnaaz shared, “We have come to the city of the Guru to seek Waheguru’s blessings for our film. Our film Ikk Kudi is releasing on October 31, and we hope it turns out to be a super-duper hit.”
Shehnaaz added that people of Punjab are extremely welcoming. “I had come here before, and now my brother is also making his mark in the Punjabi film industry. I want all Punjabi people to support him — he is a son of our home,” she said with a smile.
Speaking about the film, Shehnaaz shared that “Ikk Kudi” tells a story from 1950 to 2025. She added, “The film was shot in Chandigarh, and it portrays the complete Punjabi atmosphere. When the audience watches it, they will feel that this is a story connected to the soil of Punjab.”
She further mentioned that several artists from the Punjabi film industry have worked passionately on this project. “Our entire team has worked wholeheartedly so that Punjabi cinema can reach a new height,” she concluded.
