Shilpa Shetty’s Bastian is among the most popular celebrity joints in India. Shilpa Shetty partnered with restaurateur Ranjit Bindra, founder of the Bastian brand, in 2019. Since then, she has expanded her presence in the hospitality sector, co-owning multiple restaurants across India and holding a 50 per cent stake in the Bastian brand. But do you know how much the food costs in Bastian?

According to SCREEN, Jasmine herbal tea and English breakfast tea are priced at Rs 920 and Rs 360, respectively. The rate of sparkling wine can go up to Rs 1,59,500 for a Dom Perignon Brut Rose, a French bottle. Typically, the food is priced between Rs 500 and Rs 1200.

As per the report, items like chilli garlic noodles and chicken burrito are available at Rs 675 and Rs 900, respectively. The burrata salad is priced at Rs 1050, while the avocado toast costs Rs 800. While Bastian At The Top is among the most sought-after restaurants in Mumbai, it is also hard to get a reservation.

Bastian isn’t just a hotspot; it’s reportedly making Rs 2–3 crore every single night. Socialite and writer Shobhaa De recently shared the jaw-dropping numbers in a chat with Mojo Story. According to Shobhaa, Bastian accommodates up to 1,400 guests in a single evening through two seatings of 700 diners each.

“They have a waiting list of people waiting downstairs on the road in Dadar, which is like the heartland of old Maharashtrian conservative area in Mumbai. There are people coming in Lamborghinis and Aston Martins. You name it. Who are these people? I have no idea,” she said.

In an interview last year, Shilpa Shetty had reacted to speculations about the revenue that the restaurant generates. She revealed the number was much higher than what people were speculating, and also shared that they were the highest payers of GST in the hospitality industry in the last financial year.

“They’re all wrong, and their numbers are totally wrong. We’re making much more than that (laughs). Last time we paid the highest GST for the hospitality. My managers tell me they get more calls to book seats in Bastian than for my work,” she said to Zoom TV.

Meanwhile, Shilpa Shetty and her husband, Raj Kundra, are currently facing a fraud case, accused of cheating a businessman from Juhu of Rs 60.48 crore. The Bombay High Court recently denied their request to travel to the United States and other countries to expand their restaurant business overseas. The court has instructed that they must first deposit Rs 60 crore before seeking permission to travel internationally.
