The Bigg Boss 19 house witnessed a dramatic weekend as Salman Khan announced a surprise double eviction. Contestants Baseer Ali and Nehal Chudasama were both shown the door, ending their run on the popular reality show.
Baseer’s elimination came as a complete shock to viewers and housemates alike. Many expected him to make it to the finals, given his strong gameplay and growing fan following. Nehal’s exit, however, was on the cards after a turbulent week inside the house.
Baseer’s Unexpected Exit Leaves Housemates Emotional
Baseer, who entered the season with a lot of confidence and charm, quickly became a visible face on the show. His chemistry with Nehal made headlines and kept audiences invested, though it also drew plenty of trolling online.
Nehal’s Return Cut Short
Nehal Chudasama, who had re-entered the show just two weeks ago after a stint in the secret room, couldn’t make her second chance count. Her clashes with other housemates and frequent run-ins with host Salman Khan kept her in the spotlight for the wrong reasons.
During the recent Weekend Ka Vaar, Salman had even told Amaal Mallik that Nehal “manipulated him in the game.” Viewers had also accused her of stirring unnecessary drama for attention.
Baseer Ali’s mother on his bond with Nehal Chudasama
In an interview with Viral Bhayani, Baseer Ali’s mother, Afshan Khan, recently reacted to her son’s closeness with Nehal. She said that Baseer and Nehal are just gym friends, as they met a couple of times outside the house. She dismissed any notion of a love angle and called it part of Nehal Chudasama’s gameplay.
She added, “Baseer is a very good friend, and all the fights with Farhana were planned by Nehal. Baseer has no idea about it. If I go on the show, I’ll tell him one-on-one. I’m very upset and feel bad for Baseer. People are taking undue advantage of his innocence. Both Farhana and Nehal are doing wrong by him. Baseer has a very good heart, but from a game point of view, it’s not good for him to be with anyone, not even Nehal.”
This weekend’s double eviction marked the second of the season and left fans debating who might go next as the competition tightens. Meanwhile, reports suggest Baseer Ali may soon be seen in Naagin 7.
