Is a Shah Rukh Khan-Alia Bhatt reunion on the cards? As per a now-deleted Bollywood Hungama report, Aditya Chopra has already spoken to SRK and has requested that the superstar give him three to four days in November. SRK plays Pathaan in YRF’s spyverse, so a cameo in Alpha is not unlikely. However, News18 could not independently verify it.

A source told Bollywood Hungama, “At the moment, Pathaan is the most talked about character of the Spy Universe. Aditya Chopra has picked up the call on Shah Rukh Khan to make a cameo in Alpha. He has designed a special part for him, which leads to Pathaan 2. Shah Rukh Khan has asked for some time to think over the same, as he has allotted bulk dates to King at the moment.” News18 cannot independently verify the claims.

The source also told Bollywood Hungama, “Shah Rukh Khan had blocked the entire November for the shoot of King, but at the request of Adi, he is trying to reschedule the commitment to make his cameo in Alpha a reality. He will confirm his presence in a week to 10 days. If not a proper cameo, he might just shoot for an end-credit sequence of Alpha.”

The report also mentioned that Aditya Chopra is also trying for Salman Khan as Tiger to make a cameo in Alpha. However, the writing for that sequence has yet to be completed. “He will approach Salman only when the cameo’s impact is as good as the one for Tiger in Pathaan had,” the source mentioned.

However, industry sources state that this appears to be just a rumour, and there are no confirmed plans for the superstars to feature in Alpha, even in a cameo.

Previously, it was reported that Alpha was being revised after the box office debacle of War 2. As per a report by senior journalist Subhash K Jha, after the disaster of Ayan Mukerji-directed War 2, the inexperience of Alpha director Shiv Rawail had left YRF concerned. According to the report, Aditya Chopra had stepped in to reshape and save Alpha. “Sources suggest crucial revisions are being made to both the screenplay and its execution to ensure the film lives up to the studio’s expectations and restores faith in the spy universe brand,” the report had claimed.

Fans got a glimpse of Alpha in War 2’s post-credit scene. In the sequence, Bobby Deol made a surprise appearance, marking his official entry into the Spy Universe. The scene showed him stamping the logo of an agency on a young girl’s hand. When the girl asked what it meant, Bobby’s character answered, “Alpha.” He explained that Alpha is the first letter of the Greek alphabet and their program’s motto: “The first, the fastest, the strongest.”

This intriguing interaction had fuelled speculation online that the girl might be a younger version of Alia Bhatt’s character in Alpha. Bobby Deol is expected to play the main antagonist in the film, who possibly trains Alia’s character before turning into her nemesis. Fans believe this twist adds a fascinating mentor-turned-enemy dynamic to the upcoming story.
