Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is all set to celebrate his 60th birthday on November 2, and ahead of his birthday, he just announced a special treat for his fans! SRK shared a post on Instagram, revealing that some of his previous iconic films such as Main Hoon Na, Om Shanti Om, Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa are re-releasing in theatres. He playfully added that the man in the films hasn’t changed much over the years. He said that only his hair has changed and that he has become a bit more handsome.

Shah Rukh Khan Announces Re-Release Of His Previous Films

On Friday, Shah Rukh Khan took to Instagram to share a video featuring the seven films that will be re-releasing in select theatres. The 7 films include the 2013 action-comedy ‘Chennai Express’, Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s romantic epic ‘Devdas’ (2002), Mani Ratnam’s 1998 political drama ‘Dil Se’. Also screening are Shah Rukh Khan’s film ‘Kabhi Haan Kabhi Na’ (1994), Om Shanti Om (2007), ‘Main Hoon Na’ (2004), and the recent blockbuster ‘Jawan’ (2023).

In his caption, King Khan wrote, “Some of my previous films are coming back to the theatres. The man in them hasn’t changed much – just the hair… and a little more handsome. The Shah Rukh Khan Film Festival begins on 31st October! In select theatres across India, in association with PVR INOX. Soon after Shah Rukh Khan made the announcement, fans flooded the comments section to express their excitement for the Shah Rukh Khan Film Festival! “Can’t wait for the SRK film festival,” wrote one fan, while another one commented, “Finally gonna watch Devdas on the big screen.” A third comment read, “How lucky we are to be watching your great movies again on big screen.” Another fan requested, “Re-release Petition for “SWADES-2004″ Gem of a movie.”

Variety quoted Shah Rukh Khan saying, “Cinema has always been my home, and seeing these films find their way back to the big screen feels like a beautiful reunion.” He further added, “These movies are not just my stories, they belong to the audience that have lovingly embraced them over the last 33 years.”
