Karan and Janhvi recently appeared on Two Much, where they discussed emotional cheating vs physical cheating. While Janhvi condemned both forms of infidelity, the senior stars didn’t think physical cheating was a deal breaker.
Twinkle Khanna said that Janhvi was too young to understand that “raat gayi baat gayi”. She mentioned Janhvi would soon see things that she has also seen. Kajol agreed with her co-cost.
Karan Johar echoed this sentiment and mentioned, “I believe physical infidelity is not a deal breaker.” Karan then explained his reasoning and said, “Thand lag jaati hai kabhi kabhi.”
Kajol, the co-host of the show, also agreed that physical cheating can be forgiven. Previously, many Bollywood celebs have expressed similar opinions.
Neetu Kapoor once told a newspaper, ”I have caught him flirting hundreds of times. I always seem to be the first to hear about his affairs on outdoor locations. But I know they are just one-night stands… We have become very confident about each other… He is too dependent on me, he will never leave me… Men should be given a certain amount of freedom.”
While Maheep Kapoor did threaten to leave Sanjay Kapoor when he cheated on her, she eventually reconciled with him for her kids. She had said on her Netflix show, “I walked out with Shanaya. I stood up for myself but then, I had a newborn baby. Again, as a woman and as a mother, the priority is my child. I owed my daughter this amazing father, which he is. I owed it to myself. And if I look back and if I broke this shit up, I would have regretted it all my life.”
Aditya Pancholi cheated on Zarina Wahab multiple times. She told Lehren TV, “Maine kabhi aaj tak, Nirmal se puch lena, ek sawal maine kabhi nahi kiya. Mujhe sirf itna hai ke jab wo ghar mein aate hai toh how is he to me. That’s more important. Agar pata bhi hota toh bhi I would never ask, agar maine puch liya toh woh darr nikal jayega, toh kyun puchu main.”
Dilip Kumar had admitted to cheating on Saira Banu. He wrote in his autobiography that he and Saira had put that episode in their lives into “eternal oblivion”.
