Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh is currently in Abu Dhabi, UAE, and he watched the 2025 NBA pre season game 2 between Philadelphia 76ers and New York Knicks live on Saturday, October 4. Several pictures and videos from the NBA game show Ranveer excitedly greeting New York Knicks basketballer Karl-Anthony Towns. He was also seen having a conversation with The Brutalist star Adrien Brody, actress-singer Victoria Justice and Philadelphia 76ers’ Joel Embiid. Rapper Badshah, Rannvijay Singha, Aly Goni and Jasmin Bhasin were also seen enjoying the match in Abu Dhabi.
Ranveer Singh Catches Up With Adrien Brody, Victoria Justice
On Sunday, Ranveer Singh took to his Instagram stories to share several photos from the NBA pre-season game. One picture shows him happily interacting with Hollywood star Adrien Brody. Ranveer looked dapper in a black t-shirt layered with a matching jacket and pants. He rocked a new hairstyle, and accessorized with dark sunglasses. Meanwhile, another photo showed him sitting next to Victoria Justice, pointing at something that she was also looking at. Another photo showed him shaking hands with Joel Embiid. Ranveer was also seen posing with rapper Badshah and Afghan cricketer Rashid Khan.
Ranveer Singh Meets Karl-Anthony Towns
NBA India shared a video which showed his friendly exchange with Karl-Anthony Towns. He hugged the basketball player, and was seen enjoying a chat with him. The video went viral, and fans went gaga over them. “the crossover i didn’t know i needed,” read one comment, while another one read, “Game recognize game. Hell yeah.”
In another post about his reunion with Karl-Anthony Towns, Ranveer Singh commented, “KATS MY GUYYY!” For the unversed, a video of the Bollywood star and the basketball player went viral in 2023 during the NBA Abu Dhabi Games. Ranveer was seen teaching Towns some dance moves, and their fun-filled grooving quickly captured the internet’s attention.
Ranveer Singh On His Love For NBA
In another video, Ranveer mentioned that he has been following NBA since he was a kid. “I love the NBA. I followed it ever since I was a kid. But to watch it live, it’s a completely different experience altogether. It’s full of electricity, energy- and when you watch it courtside you realize the sheer size of the players and the sheer athleticism that they possess. It’s really a completely different experience to watch it live and I’m really grateful to be here,” he said.
