Samay Raina seemingly took jabs at Yuzvendra Chahal’s ex-wife Dhanashree Verma in new ad with RJ Mahvash
Comedian Samay Raina recently featured in a cheeky advertisement for a cosmetic brand with Yuzvendra Chahal’s rumoured girlfriend RJ Mahvash. In the ad, Samay seemingly took jabs at Chahal’s ex-wife Dhanashree Verma. While neither of them directly named Dhanashree, they made a series of references that fans believe were clear jabs at her and her past with the cricketer. Samay Raina spoke about his ‘rise and fall’ within two months, seemingly referencing Dhanashree’s claim that Yuzvendra Chahal cheated on her just two months into their marriage, a statement she made on the reality show Rise And Fall. Samay also appeared to reference the alleged Rs 4.75 crore alimony, Dhanashree’s podcast, and even wore a T-shirt with “Be Your Own Sugar Daddy” printed on it. Yuzvendra reacted to Samay and Mahvash’s ad, hilariously warning the comedian to ‘be ready for one more case’.
Samay Raina Takes Jabs At Dhanashree Verma In Ad With RJ Mahvash?
The ad shared by Samay Raina shows RJ Mahvash saying her favourite letter is ‘M’, to which Samay reacts: “Mera hai U, Z (Yuzvi),” subtly referencing Yuzvendra. When Mahvash asks about his life, Samay responds, “Beech mein bas Rise And Fall ho gaya tha mera, but ab sab sahi hai. Bas Pehle 2 mahine mein it was an issue,” seemingly addressing Dhanashree’s recent allegation on Rise And Fall about Yuzvendra cheating within two months of their marriage.
The digs then continued as Samay asked Mahvash, “What’s half of 8 crore?” to which she replies “4 crore.” Mahvash seemed taken aback, and she said that Samay has no filter. Samay also says, “Podcast karte hain.” Towards the end, he reveals a T-shirt which reads, “Be your own sugar daddy”, the same t-shirt that Yuzvendra wore after his divorce with Dhanashree.
Yuzvendra Chahal’s Reaction
Samay shared the video and wrote, “Podcast karne mai fatt gayi @rj.mahvash ?!” Looks like Yuzvendra Chahal was in on the joke too, as Samay shared a screenshot from his video call with Chahal.
The cricketer was seen laughing, as he talked to the comedian. Sharing the screenshot, Samay wrote, “Love you my sugar daddy.” Chahal reacted by writing, “Be ready for one more case,” along with laughing emojis. The cricketer also commented on the post, and wrote, “Be ready for one more case @maisamayhoon #4cr,” along with a laughing emoji.
