Awez Darbar’s eviction, just a day after Gauahar Khan greeted the show and explained to him how to amp up his game, didn’t sit well with netizens, who called his exit unfair. But now new claims have surfaced. Fresh reports suggest that the content creator’s family paid the Bigg Boss 18 makers for his voluntary exit from the show.
It has been said that the makers had plans to bring Awez Darbar’s ex-girlfriend, Shubhi Joshi, as a wildcard contestant inside the house. To avoid any drama in Awez’s personal life, especially after Baseer Ali and Armaan Malik’s claims, the content creator’s family allegedly paid a certain amount for his voluntary exit.
Shubhi, in an interview, also confirmed that she and Awez had a past relationship, which sparked speculation that he had cheated on Nagma Mirajkar. After Gauahar Khan visited for a segment, she allegedly checked with the makers regarding their plans for a wildcard entry. Upon not receiving any concrete answer, the family decided on his voluntary exit. Instead of announcing Neelam Giri as evicted, the makers asked host Salman Khan to declare her safe.
While News18 has no official or concrete information about these reports, the rumours surrounding Awez’s exit are creating quite a buzz.
Awez Darbar Evicted
Awez’s eviction came after he was in the bottom three, along with Ashnoor Kaur and Pranit More. His eviction came shortly after a visit from his sister-in-law, Gauahar Khan, who offered him a reality check on his performance in the house. “Aap ka waha par kya ho raha hain, Awez? If you don’t fight your battle, who will? Aap bilkul chup ho unn muddo pe jaha par aapko bolna chahiye. If you get lost, then you have no chance in this show,” Gauahar told him.
Awez Darbar is a prominent content creator with a substantial social media following, boasting over 20.4 million Instagram followers and 12.6 million YouTube subscribers. He is the son of music composer Ismail Darbar and the brother-in-law of actress Gauahar Khan, being the sibling of her husband, Zaid Darbar. Awez entered the Bigg Boss house alongside his girlfriend, Nagma Mirajkar, who was also evicted two weeks ago.
