But what’s even more heartwarming is the fact that this comeback is reportedly credited to none other than his wife, Hailey Bieber, and the Beliebers have her to thank for the singer’s forthcoming performance.
According to US Weekly, Hailey played a huge role in convincing Justin to headline Coachella. A source told the portal, “Hailey was a big influence on Justin’s decision to headline Coachella. She nudged him and is always in his corner hyping him up.” Not just that, Hailey has been described as “incredibly supportive,” with the insider adding that she “assured” Justin that “now is the best time” for him to make his big return.
Another source echoed the same sentiment, calling Hailey the “driving force behind Justin doing Coachella,” in a conversation with the same portal. The insider explained that before becoming his wife in 2018, Hailey was already a longtime fan of the pop icon. She reportedly “always reminds him that he is the Justin Bieber.” The source further added, “She knows firsthand how much it means to his fans to see him back on stage, so she was like, ‘You have to do this!’”
Hailey Bieber’s Final Push
It is no secret that Bieber had previously turned down offers to perform at Coachella. However, things changed after he dropped his latest albums, Swag and Swag II, earlier this summer. As reported by Page Six, Hailey’s encouragement gave him the final push to take the leap.

Speaking to US Weekly, the first insider said, “He feels this is the best way to share his new music with fans and is very excited about the opportunity. He is more in control of his career. He doesn’t have people making decisions for him anymore.”

According to Page Six, Bieber will reportedly earn a jaw-dropping $10 million (approximately Rs 88 crore) for his Coachella set. A source told Rolling Stone, “It’s a groundbreaking move for a headliner, and it’s something he built entirely on his own. Between headlining Coachella and the success of ‘Swag,’ it’s clear this is the start of an exciting new era for Justin — one where he’s fully in the driver’s seat.”
Alongside Justin Bieber, Sabrina Carpenter and Karol G will also be performing at the prestigious musical festival.
