While no official schedules had been announced beforehand, the singer is confirmed to attend Gucci’s highly anticipated show during Milan Fashion Week. Known for his striking presence and viral red-carpet moments, Jin’s visit to Italy quickly became the talk of ARMY circles worldwide.
Upon his arrival in Milan, fans gathered at the airport to welcome him. However, the reception stood out from the usual frenzy that often surrounds BTS members. Instead of chaotic crowds, Jin was greeted with the BTS ARMY’s Purple Ribbon Project—a thoughtful initiative designed to prioritize safety while showing love.
Fans Honour V’s Wishes With Purple Ribbons
Jin looked visibly touched as he entered Milan, smiling and waving to fans who had created an organized barrier with purple ribbons, the official color of BTS. His bodyguards were able to guide him smoothly through the crowd as supporters cheered, holding their distance with composure.
The Purple Ribbon Project was first introduced by fans in 2018 to prevent stampede-like situations at airports and events. Using ribbons, ARMY creates a buffer zone for BTS members, ensuring both safety and respect. The thoughtful gesture was revived following member V’s request during a livestream, where he urged fans to bring the practice back so idols could interact more freely without the dangers of mobbing. Jin’s arrival in Milan showcased the success of that effort.
Milan Fashion Week Heats Up
BTS’ participation in global fashion events has consistently drawn attention, and Jin’s Milan arrival has only fueled the buzz around Fashion Week. Gucci’s show, set to be one of the highlights of the Women’s Spring/Summer 2026 season, is expected to see Jin in attendance alongside other international stars.
