Akshay Kumar is one of the most loved actors in the industry. He has given several movies in a career spanning decades and has worked with almost every heroine in the industry, but like everyone, he also has his favourites. The actor, who is basking in the success of his recently released film Jolly LLB 3, in a recent interview, talked about his favourite female co-star.
Akshay recently appeared in Aap Ki Adalat, where a fan asked him who has been his favourite heroine among everyone. While reacting to the question, he shared, “Meri favourite heroine… actually maine sabhi ke saath kaam kiya hua hai (I have worked with everyone in the industry). (Pauses) Katrina [Kaif]!”
Well, Akshay and Katrina have been two of the closest friends in the industry and have worked in several movies, including Humko Deewana Kar Gaye (2006), Namastey London (2007), Welcome (2007), Singh Is Kinng (2008), Blue (2009), De Dana Dan (2009), Tees Maar Khan (2010), and Sooryavanshi (2021).
Katrina has often praised Akshay for supporting her in the early days. While promoting their film Sooryavanshi, the actor shared, “I would like to thank Akshay, as during my initial days he was of immense support to me as a co-star. He used to stand in front of me every time when I gave a shot and encourage me. His feedback helped me to improve my acting skills, and I can surely say that he was one of the few actors who believed in me.”

On the professional front, Akshay Kumar is currently seen in Jolly LLB 3, which stars him opposite Arshad Warsi. The actor has also reunited with longtime collaborator Saif Ali Khan in Priyadarshan’s newly announced film Haiwaan.
Akshay and Saif have previously worked together in hits like Main Khiladi Tu Anari, Yeh Dillagi, Aarzoo, Tu Chor Main Sipahi, and Keemat. They were last seen together in the 2008 action-comedy Tashan, also starring Kareena Kapoor Khan and Anil Kapoor.
Akshay Kumar is also working on two more projects with Priyadarshan: Bhoot Bangla, a horror comedy, and the much-anticipated Hera Pheri 3.
