BTS member V, also known as Kim Taehyung, is once again proving why he’s the ultimate Weverse favorite. In a late-night post, the singer suggested trying out a new simultaneous livestream feature with artists outside of his BTS circle. Fans were quick to pick up on the request, and soon, names of other idols were flooding in, making the update one of the most talked-about moments on the platform.

The singer’s request wasn’t for his BTS teammates but for other K-pop stars, ensuring that the trial would highlight cross-group interactions. ARMY quickly jumped in, suggesting names from their BIGHIT MUSIC juniors, including TOMORROW X TOGETHER (TXT) and rookie group CORTIS. However, it was members of PLEDIS Entertainment’s rising group TWS who stole the spotlight with their earnest—and hilarious—attempt to join in.

Dohoon and Kyungmin’s Hilarious Attempt

TWS members Dohoon and Kyungmin responded directly to V’s post, dropping shocked emojis before making their request. They wrote, “We really want to do it. Sunbaenim, if you’re not asleep by now we’d like to join your live. This is Kyungmin and Dohoon from TWS.” Despite their enthusiastic approach, V did not immediately acknowledge them, leading to a wave of lighthearted campaigning from their fans online.

The playful interaction quickly went viral, with many noting how the juniors were seizing the opportunity to connect with one of the biggest names in K-pop. Their fans, known as DAYDAY, began trending hashtags to draw attention to the duo’s effort, while ARMYs also found the exchange endearing and filled comment sections with encouragement for the collaboration to happen.

V’s History of Surprise Cameos

This isn’t the first time Taehyung has used Weverse to create memorable cross-group interactions. He has previously appeared in a TXT livestream hosted by Yeonjun and Beomgyu, while TXT’s Soobin once invited SEVENTEEN’s Seungkwan for a joint broadcast. Even more famously, Jungkook and Mingyu surprised fans with an impromptu 4 a.m. session that brought together two massive fandoms.

With simultaneous livestreams now being tested, fans believe the feature could redefine idol-fan engagement and encourage more interactions across different K-pop groups. Whether or not Dohoon and Kyungmin get their wish, V’s latest move has already sparked excitement about future collaborations.
