However, according to India Forums, a journalist recently visited one of her factories in the city and reported that it was not as large as she portrayed on national television.

The online buzz took a new turn when social media users began investigating her father’s identity. A resurfaced Instagram post from 2015, where Tanya wrote that her father was her inspiration, has sparked curiosity. As per some online claims, her father is Ravi Mittal, a Delhi-based entrepreneur credited with building more than 400 flats in the capital. If verified, this would confirm her wealthy roots.
However, confusion remains. Several people, including locals from Gwalior, insist that her father is Amit Mittal, not Ravi Mittal. When approached, neighbours of the Mittal family declined to comment on her or their business.
Contestants Grill Tanya Mittal Over Claims
Inside the Bigg Boss 19 house, Tanya’s fellow contestants have not shied away from questioning her background. Mridul Tiwari has repeatedly brought up things he heard about her, including references to videos circulating online. Gaurav Khanna also quizzed her about her family home in Gwalior.
On the latest episode, Tanya responded to questions about her luxurious lifestyle with a statement that raised eyebrows. She said, “I go to Dubai four to five times a month for business reasons and have Baklava.” According to her, she is actively planning to expand her ventures in the Middle East.

In earlier episodes, Tanya also revealed personal details about her life choices. She said, “My father wanted to get me married when I was 19. However, I defied him and started my own journey as an entrepreneur.” This disclosure added another layer to her public persona, blending claims of family affluence with her personal struggle for independence.
