JoJo Siwa opened up about her romantic relationship with Hughes and how her partner is helping her view love in a much different light.

JoJo Siwa, singer known for hit tracks like Karma, Boomerang and Guilty Pleasure, has been dating TV actor Chris Hughes for some time now. The couple confirmed their relationship in June 2025, following their appearance on the reality show Celebrity Big Brother UK, which concluded in April 2025.
In a recent interview, Siwa opened up about her romance with Hughes and shared how he has helped her see love in a whole new light.

During an appearance in the recent episode of the Reign with Josh Smith podcast, Siwa said, “I am happy. I’ve never wanted the future so much. I’ve never, ever wanted the love that I have to simply continue to grow,” as quoted by PEOPLE.
“I’ve never craved a wedding,” she continued. “I’ve always wanted to just like go sign a piece of paper or go to Vegas because I didn’t wanna have a wedding, but now I’m like, No, I want a ring and I want my Dad to walk me down the aisle and I want a first dance and I want butterflies.”
However, the duo has not yet confirmed their wedding plans.
JoJo Siwa’s Earlier Came Out As LGBTQ+
The singer officially confirmed her relationship with Hughes earlier during an interview with The Guardian. She said, “It’s no longer platonic, and it’s been a great evolution, a beautiful connection, and I’m completely in love with him, and he is as well.”
Notably, before her relationship with Hughes was confirmed, the singer came out as LGBTQ+. During the recent podcast, she admitted that her dating choices have generated significant backlash.
“It’s difficult because it feels like my own family has changed a little. And I believe we are the LGBTQIA+ family, not the LG community, and it is a lovely rainbow, with the queer community’s number one motto being love is love,” Siwa shared.
She added, “And that goes both ways. Just because I am in a heterosexual relationship, that doesn’t discredit my past.”
JoJo Siwa And Chris Hughes’ Work Front
The singer released her latest track, Rapsy, last month, which received good responses from the audience. Chris, on the other hand, has appeared in a number of reality shows, including Love Island: Aftersun, Celebrity Hunted, Queens for the Night, and Pointless Celebrities, among others.
