Ajay Devgn, Sanjay Dutt, and Tamannaah Bhatia are going to share screen space in an action drama tentatively titled Ranger. According to the latest reports, after completing a crucial shooting schedule in Mumbai, the cast and crew are now heading to Thailand for the next schedule. The other details are still under wraps.

Mid-Day has reported, “Jagan (Shakti, director) and the cast are finishing the Mumbai schedule and will soon head for the second schedule in Thailand. The shoot involves important sequences of the film. In the film, Ajay is reportedly playing the role of forest officer, who stands up against poaching. Sanjay, on the other hand, essays the role of an antagonist. Although Tamannaah is the female lead, details of her character in Ranger are not known yet.”

The source also added, “The song, choreographed by Ganesh Acharya, required Ajay to shoot while drinking alcohol, but he cheated the sequences with black coffee instead.”

According to insider details close to PinkVilla, the Ajay-Sanjay clash in Ranger promises to be a spectacle like no other. “The villain’s character has an aura that perfectly matches Sanjay Dutt’s larger-than-life persona. Given the jungle setting, the team is designing distinct looks for both Ajay and Sanjay to complement their roles,” revealed a source. The film is expected to be mounted on a grand scale, with Jagan Shakti exploring cutting-edge VFX to recreate dense forests and wildlife.

Ajay Devgn’s Work Front

On the professional side, Ajay was last seen in Vijay Kumar Arora’s Son of Sardaar 2. The film also starred Ravi Kishan, Sanjay Mishra, Mrunal Thakur, Neeru Bajwa, Chunky Panday, Kubbra Sait and others in key roles. Up next, he will appear in the fourth instalment of the fan-favourite Dhamaal franchise. Featuring an ensemble cast including Riteish Deshmukh, Arshad Warsi, Sanjay Mishra, Jaaved Jaaferi, Sanjeeda Shaikh, Anjali Anand, Upendra Limaye, Vijay Patkar, and Ravi Kishan, the film is slated for a 2026 release. It promises a laugh riot like never before.

Tamannaah Bhatia’s work front

The actress is ruling the industry with back-to-back Bollywood projects lined up in her kitty. She is all set to impress audiences in the upcoming comic drama, Do You Wanna Partner. Bankrolled by Karan Johar’s Dharmatic Entertainment and directed by Archit Kumar and Nishant Naik, the series tells the story of two best friends (played by Diana Penty and Tamannaah), who embark on a daring entrepreneurial journey to launch an alcohol start-up. The Prime Video original series also stars talented actors like Nakuul Mehta, Shweta Tiwari, Jaaved Jafferi, Neeraj Kabi, Collin DCunha, Sufi Motiwala and Rannvijay Singha in pivotal roles. The series is all set to premiere in India as well as over 240 other countries and territories on September 12.
