Akanksha Puri attended rumoured ex-boyfriend Shiv Thakare’s birthday bash in Mumbai. The duo have been allegedly together since April 2023, courtesy of their constant appearance together. Besides denying the rumours and clarifying that they are only friends, they consistently mark their presence on several occasions. Last night, the actress turned the spotlight on herself with her sizzling looks.
In a video posted on Instagram, Akansha Puri was papped in Andheri, Mumbai, as she stepped out for gracing Shiv Thakar’s grand birthday party. She radiated her cheerful and vibrant nature while interacting with the shutterbugs stationed over there. But ahead of posing for the lens, she was seen taking a moment to adjust her corset top after she exited the car, which caught much attention.

For the sizzling look last night, Akansha Puri opted for a white-hued corset teamed with a matching coloured pencil skirt. She also tied a similar fabric in her left hand, making a bow that added an oomph factor to her stunning appearance. Middle-parted, wavy tresses and glam makeup wrapped up her entire look.
Soon after the video surfaced on social media, Puri’s fans began flooding the comment section with appreciative emojis.

Later, taking to her Instagram stories, Akansha Puri posted a couple of inside pictures from Shiv Thakar’s birthday bash. Posing for a lovely frame with the first runner-up of Bigg Boss Season 16, she wrote, “One with the birthday boy.”

Best known for her role as Goddess Parvati in Vighnaharta Ganesh, Puri has been part of several Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam and Kannada films, as well as a few web series, television shows and music videos.
In 2023, when she participated in Bigg Boss OTT (Hindi season 2), the actress was also embroiled in a controversy. Allegedly, she had kissed Jad Hadid, another contestant on the reality TV show.
Lastly, she was seen in the crime thriller So Long Valley, co-starring Tridha Choudhury and Vikram Kochhar. The movie was released in July 2025.
